PRINCE ISSA Takes Europe for 11th Birthday

Issa has dreamed of visiting Italy since learning about Venice from watching an episode of Garfield. I learned of his interest in the Eiffel Tower this year after a school project he shared with me. I managed to squeeze a surprise in a surprise. He found out he was going to Venice during a quick layover in Turkey. He found out about Paris several days after the trip started. He cried tears of joy when we arrived in Paris and that made my soul sing. I’ve never seen those type of tears from him before, “Mom I have dreamed about this my whole life, I just can’t believe it. All of this just for me? I feel so special.”

Celebrated 4 year anniversary guitar lessons with Dr.G this winter
Selected for all county chorus for the first time this year
Became a first year bass player (that means a lot of twinkle twinkle little star)
Participated in first orchestra pyramid concert with children a grade level above, at Woodbridge High School
Nickname is still “rockstar” at school
Academic interest include building planes, and science however, he doesn’t love any subject more than music.
