ThE MONTH of the PRINCE: IssA TuRNS 12

Hair Therapy was created Prince Issa was 2 years old. Many Hair Therapy members turned family have seen him grow up. Nicknames include Issa Baby, Chocolate Chip and Pop. Thank you for your love and support. 12! The last “kid year” before we enter the teenager era! Below is the recap of the big day.

On Friday April 5th, 2024 we started the day at Cool Cat Cupcakes then visited “Beat the Bomb” in D.C. The stress of arriving by 5:30 PM on a Friday was enough for anyone to need and asthma pump. I was completely out of breath in the laser room and utterly confused about how to play the game in the bomb room before getting blasted with paint. This was Issa’s favorite activity.

Sat April 6th, we visited the St.James indoor water park. The facility is huge, the water park is small and just enough for a kid to have fun with friends but not suitable for family fun. We ended the weekend with brunch at DC Vegan. This was a 10/10 for me. The food is filling and flavorful. They had macaroons, coffee and a full bar. Downstairs is an intimate setting for small parties. Upstairs is a casual setting and deli. We ended the day Gravelly Point Park, Issa’s happy place where he can watch planes take off.
